Creative Meet-Up II — Mogadishu
Yesterday, Arlo hosted its second Creative Meet-Up in Mogadishu, bringing together young artists and creatives from across the city. The gathering provided an open space for creatives to share their stories, present their work, exchange ideas, and explore different perspectives within Mogadishu’s growing creative scene. The programme included a short film screening, followed by an engaging discussion and an opportunity for participants to connect, exchange experiences, and build new creative relationships. We are grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their work, and contributed their ideas to the conversation.

Creative Meet-Up I — Mogadishu & Garowe
Today, the first Creative Meet-Up took place in Mogadishu and Garowe, officially launching the Arlo Creative Meet-Up programme.
The gathering brought together Somali artists and creatives to exchange ideas, share experiences, and engage in conversations around art and creativity. Creative Meet-Up creates a space for artists and creatives to connect, share their work and stories, and explore the ideas shaping Somalia’s creative landscape.
This marks the beginning of a new journey for Arlo creating spaces where creatives meet, share, learn from one another, and grow together.
