Arlo Art Space hosts the Arlo Film Nights, Arlo Trainings, and regular artist exhibitions. It is home to the Arlo Gallery and a growing community of Somali creatives shaping the future of art and culture. We offer continuous artistic and public programs, including film screenings, creative workshops, artist talks, and exhibitions that bring together filmmakers, writers, photographers, and musicians. Arlo Art Space supports collaboration and knowledge exchange through its creative meetups and mentorship initiatives, helping artists gain visibility and professional growth opportunities. Arlo also works with partners across Somalia and East Africa to build sustainable networks for art, film, and cultural exchange.

Arlo Art Gallery

It provides a space for discussion, inspiration, and growth, helping artists connect and develop their work while building a stronger creative community.

Arlo Art Education

offers training and workshops for young people interested in art. The program helps them develop their skills, explore creativity, and build confidence in their artistic abilities. It provides practical learning, guidance from experienced artists, and opportunities to grow within the local art community.

Arlo Art Space Launches with First Film Night 22 June Last night, Arlo Art Space officially opened, bringing together young creative people to showcase their talents and connect with the community. The launch event featured the first Arlo Film Night, attracting over 200 attendees. The evening’s film screening highlighted the acclaimed Somali movie The Gravedigger’s Wife (2021).
